BECAUSE OF LOVE



The word love has come to be the most commonly used phrase all over the world. The ‘Love’ word has also come to have different definitions.  But one fact still remains, all this opinions and statement mean the same thing. The only thing which makes it different in some way is the experience of every individual who has found, expressed, and also felt it. Love on its own is a mystery, many at times we feel we understand it but most of the time we just don’t comprehend it as much as we can’t understand the Trinity. Like the Trinity, we have subjected to faith and believe is divine, and that’s exactly the way love is. We can’t understand why we feel love, be loved, and give love but we all believe in it, we hope in and for it.
People tend to disregard love; they always manage to bury their consciousness of it by letting themselves believe it is non-existent. Most of the people who do this are afraid of being vulnerable because they believe love makes one weak. So they tend to shut it out and live a fabricated world of ignorance, lies, and pretense. One thing is certain; we are created in love, so as much as we want to not believe that it is true, and that’s why as humans we cannot stop loving. Even if you stop loving consciously, it’s impossible to stop subconsciously. As I stated earlier one can’t stop loving but we can choose not to act on it, we can only deceive ourselves by believing we don’t want to feel it, because truly love is all and what we are.
True there is hate, jealousy, greed, but unlike love they are acquired, learned. Love is in-built, it is the core of human existence and nature, it is what saves us from ourselves. Love is the reason we have not gone into extinction, because there is always somebody out there, someone, some people who love and choose to act on their divine essence. Why do you think we have survived so many wars, disasters, and so on; reason is because a group of people who chose to act on their consciousness of love which is God’s given nature and is greater than man itself. Yes greater, because it already existed before man was created. For it was out of love we were created in the image and likeness of God, to love and serve Him in all our ways. So for a fact no one is without love simply because it is the basis of our Being.
We act it in so many ways, we feel it in so many ways, we talk and give it in so many ways, and that is because of love. Because of love we love, because of love we fall in love, because of love we get heart broken, it’s because of love we love again, and again, and again until our love is reciprocated. It is because of love we have and keep memories good or bad. It’s because of love we are sometimes selfish (self-love) at the same time kind and generous. It is easy to see and believe what we already ought to know if we open our inner consciousness, that all we do, all we are is because of love. It’s no wonder Jesus Christ died on the cross to save humanity; because of love.
In conclusion, it’s safe to say one can’t stop loving because love is life, love is pain, love is gain, love is you, love is me, love is us, and love is God. What is left is how we choose to dwell on it and make use of it. That’s what makes us strong and yet some weak.
Lastly, love is a choice, our free will instilled in us by God when he created us out of love. So when I say I love you; it’s because of love, it’s because it’s my CHOICE.

CALL OUT YOUR JOSEPH

Bible characters have always being a very interesting topic. I get to read and immerse myself into the story and lives of the various characters God used to show forth His glory. This post is directed to Christians; youths and adults alike, and also to anyone who is willing to be touched by it. I do have a thing for Joseph though. Yeah Joseph…... Joseph was a lot of things: He was young, in turn innocent and naive. He had a dream, which turned out be his vision and destiny. He was loved by his father, envied by his brothers. He was sold, he slaved, and finally he rose from the ashes and became a model for Christian youths today. My focus on his story is when he found himself in the lair of the seductress/temptress. Many youths/adults alike today will never pass on sex. In fact it has become a standard for being a man, so whenever one has the chance to prove him/herself worthy to their friends, they heed its call. Well as for me I beg to differ just like Joseph did....

KNOW THY SOURCE

Knowledge is power, and information is knowledge, and one can say information is power. More important is the source of knowledge or the information, and in every aspect of life it holds meaning and significance in our lives. The authenticity of the knowledge that is sought sharpens ones minds, builds ones character, and determines ones destiny. Having pointed that out, I have an experience to share. The scriptures make us to understand the people of God which was Israel at the time perished due to lack of knowledge. Simply put the people did not have adequate and true information or knowledge about their God and even if they did they rejected the truth. They often times let their selves be deceived by false teachings and the unbelievers around them.
