There was a time he was a baby.
The baby turned child, the child turned boy
The boy turned a young man.
The young man turned a man, the man turned a husband
The husband turned father.
The father turned grandfather, the grandfather turned old

There was a time he was innocent.
The innocent became playful, the playfulness turned mistakes
The mistakes turned heart break, the heart break became lessons
The lessons turned experience, the experience turned understanding
The understanding became wisdom, wisdom turned love
Love became life, his life begot new life
His new life brought achievement, achievement became legacy

Bible characters have always being a very interesting topic. I get to read and immerse myself into the story and lives of the various characters God used to show forth His glory. This post is directed to Christians; youths and adults alike, and also to anyone who is willing to be touched by it. I do have a thing for Joseph though. Yeah Joseph…... Joseph was a lot of things: He was young, in turn innocent and naive. He had a dream, which turned out be his vision and destiny. He was loved by his father, envied by his brothers. He was sold, he slaved, and finally he rose from the ashes and became a model for Christian youths today. My focus on his story is when he found himself in the lair of the seductress/temptress. Many youths/adults alike today will never pass on sex. In fact it has become a standard for being a man, so whenever one has the chance to prove him/herself worthy to their friends, they heed its call. Well as for me I beg to differ just like Joseph did....

She’s jovial, she’s smart, and she’s interesting She doesn’t know much but always open to learn I find her very captivating and I’m attracted to her personality She says I make her laugh; she thinks I’m funny She knows I got her back; she knows I like her She’s my friend, I’m her friend She likes it that way, but I want more She knows how I feel, I respect her decision She not ready she says; she’s already taken, I know Maybe one day she’ll come around; maybe she’d reconsider I just hope I won’t have moved on…

A PRAYER FOR CHANGE

I don't how many of you feel this way inside. I don't know what spiritual battle is going within you, the truth is you are not alone. We all are in this together, like it or not, believe it or not, we all have our spiritual battles to contend with. A battle of self actualization, meaning, and divine purpose. We definitely need Divine assistance. It takes a lot for man to realize his mistakes, but to change is really a great deal I’ve been bad to myself and to the people around me I know what I’m to do, but doing it is hard I have played all my cards and got nothing That’s why Father I’ve come to Thee for one thing I have prayed, you’ll say not hard enough I have fasted, you say not with my heart I do read my bible; you say it’s always in a rush This time around I do not want to do it alone I can’t do it by myself; One thing I do ask of you Heavenly Father I need your COMPASSION.
