But how many have the patience to wait
How many can endure the test of time?,how many can hold on to their dreams?
How many can walk this path and not lose sight?
It is said that many are called but only few are chosen
The few destined for excellence are those who stand trials,overcome temptations
The few are those who find the courage to press on,the endurance to keep moving
Now the time is come for you to be honored as worthy soldiers
Then the pressure is off,the atmosphere is free,for alas we're made
Now our success story begins,with God on our side

Bible characters have always being a very interesting topic. I get to read and immerse myself into the story and lives of the various characters God used to show forth His glory. This post is directed to Christians; youths and adults alike, and also to anyone who is willing to be touched by it. I do have a thing for Joseph though. Yeah Joseph…... Joseph was a lot of things: He was young, in turn innocent and naive. He had a dream, which turned out be his vision and destiny. He was loved by his father, envied by his brothers. He was sold, he slaved, and finally he rose from the ashes and became a model for Christian youths today. My focus on his story is when he found himself in the lair of the seductress/temptress. Many youths/adults alike today will never pass on sex. In fact it has become a standard for being a man, so whenever one has the chance to prove him/herself worthy to their friends, they heed its call. Well as for me I beg to differ just like Joseph did....

GOD, LOVE, AND RELATIONSHIPS

I’m no expert in relationships, but the ideas most people have about it are most of the time very baffling, especially when it comes to the aspect of love. Now I’m not taking a general stand or view of it, my perspective is from the Christian view. Yes I mean Christian relationships! As a man, I want a God-fearing lady who is virtuous, intelligent (able to spark a conversation with on politics, ICT or general issues). The same may go for a Lady (add financial security to the list) who’s waiting for her prince charming to come. Though some profess to be Christians, yet a lot of time their lives and relationships reflect a purely human ideology and understanding of love. How can we say we understand love and leave God out of its definition? God is love, and He expressed it to us by sending His Son Jesus Christ to bear all our sins so that His perfection will be placed on our account through His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. I don't how many of you feel this way inside. I don't know what spiritual battle is going within you, the truth is you are not alone. We all are in this together, like it or not, believe it or not, we all have our spiritual battles to contend with. A battle of self actualization, meaning, and divine purpose. We definitely need Divine assistance.
