THE BATTLE FOR NUMBER ONE: THE DEBATE CONTINUES

This Messi-Cristiano comparison is baseless in my opinion, I was discussing it with a friend who is also a CR fan but says the Messi goal vs. Bayern Munich seems too exquisite for Ronaldo to pull off. Even if he did score, it would not be in that fashion, and I was like… heck yeah! It would not. Ronaldo wouldn't have done it in same fashion instead he'd shoot, my friend said. And I was like so? Cristiano should dribble too and score, will you then approve? And even if he does it...someone somewhere will say he's a copycat. This unfair comparison doesn’t go down well with me. It's best you admit preference…simple.
Sentimentally I'm attached to Cristiano because he once played for Manchester United (My favorite team). I expect fans of either player to have other preferences as to why each are favorites for them, But to deny either one their earned place in football's history over who's number one is total crap. We knew/know Cristiano because of his exploits. He made the name (CR7) by being himself, same goes for Messi. Why do we now want the other to be like one?
Who knew Pele for his footwork or Maradona for his rampant goal scoring ability? We have two players that have successfully combined both at such great consistent and phenomenal levels where ‘awe’ doesn’t even suffice anymore in use of admiration for both players. All the media does is make fuss out of nothing, two individuals can never be the same Most of us won't like our parents comparing us to other kids, if so why is it different for Messi and Cristiano?
On paper and on the pitch, they're both phenomenal, Legends in my own opinion. Any manager will work with what he has, and you wouldn’t expect them to say any less of the players or the team under their management. In fact, the rivalry between these two great footballers is what has taken them to such great heights of achievements and unbelievable records which will take a very long time for any player in our current or future generations to reach before even surpassing them.
Select your pick to your preference and however your personal perspective and footballing logic as to why you think either is better in your team is yours to own and others to respect and let it be. Don't try to justify your choice by undermining the other who is equally just as good in every aspect of the game however different in style. Going by the statistical analysis, and running the numbers, yes, Messi gets the slight advantage over Cristiano. All that is now left is assumptions; what if Ronaldo had stayed in Manchester just as long?, could he have earned more titles?, carried the team to UCL glory, maybe. But it is what it is, one player cannot make a team, and a team is as strong as its weakest link, enough said...

I’m a fan of both players truthfully, the magic Messi performs and the awe of Cristiano’s incredible ability is unparalleled. What we are witnessing is a privilege that will begin to be cherished once these two players hang up their boots. I for one see Cristiano hanging his first, but till then…sit back and be wowed, this won't be for long!

CALL OUT YOUR JOSEPH

Bible characters have always being a very interesting topic. I get to read and immerse myself into the story and lives of the various characters God used to show forth His glory. This post is directed to Christians; youths and adults alike, and also to anyone who is willing to be touched by it. I do have a thing for Joseph though. Yeah Joseph…... Joseph was a lot of things: He was young, in turn innocent and naive. He had a dream, which turned out be his vision and destiny. He was loved by his father, envied by his brothers. He was sold, he slaved, and finally he rose from the ashes and became a model for Christian youths today. My focus on his story is when he found himself in the lair of the seductress/temptress. Many youths/adults alike today will never pass on sex. In fact it has become a standard for being a man, so whenever one has the chance to prove him/herself worthy to their friends, they heed its call. Well as for me I beg to differ just like Joseph did....

THANK GOD FOR JESUS

T hank God for Jesus Christ. Thank God for making the ultimate sacrifice for man. Man in our fallibility is beyond redemption by his own standard We already failed in our ability to redeem ourselves After a series of personal experience and inward reflection, I put it that we all are not without sin No matter how hard we try to prove we can do it on our own the more we fail There is no perfection in sin, since the Eden experience where man embraced sin the perfection of the flesh was corrupted Thank God for the perfection of His Son. God cannot and will never behold sin, but yet he still tolerates us No it isn’t double standard, but mercy Mercy on who? You Through who? His Son When God looks at us, he doesn’t see us in our nature We in ourselves cannot behold his presence with our filth no matter our self-righteousness He sees his ultimate sacrifice in us, when God looks at us He sees his Son’s sacrifice And it is becaus...

A PRAYER FOR CHANGE

I don't how many of you feel this way inside. I don't know what spiritual battle is going within you, the truth is you are not alone. We all are in this together, like it or not, believe it or not, we all have our spiritual battles to contend with. A battle of self actualization, meaning, and divine purpose. We definitely need Divine assistance. It takes a lot for man to realize his mistakes, but to change is really a great deal I’ve been bad to myself and to the people around me I know what I’m to do, but doing it is hard I have played all my cards and got nothing That’s why Father I’ve come to Thee for one thing I have prayed, you’ll say not hard enough I have fasted, you say not with my heart I do read my bible; you say it’s always in a rush This time around I do not want to do it alone I can’t do it by myself; One thing I do ask of you Heavenly Father I need your COMPASSION. My spirit’s willing but my flesh won’t commit I have tried and...
