REFLECTIONS

Wide awake, not that I can’t sleep, but it won’t be that comfortable on office chairs
Wide awake listening to jazz; Kenny G’s classic collection, mood soothing, quiet reflections
Settling the mind down to think and recount on so many things: Life, experience, expectations, and challenges, bad habits, etc.
I cannot help it but be thankful; it’s been quite a journey
26years in the making and still a work in progress, people still call that young, but time flies
And that’s the part that scares me somewhat, that time is fleeting and age creeps up slowly
Anyways, I’m looking forward and ahead to New Year, thank God for now
I pray His grace to keep me till tomorrow, like a great man once said “it’s been a long walk…”
Indeed it has really been, and I cannot begin to recount my chronicles in the small piece
A recap might just put things into perspective; my family’s great, my job a blessing and still a lot of better days ahead, my life; still got much to learn, love; still searching, God compassing
What can I say? The Lord’s been good beyond everything that has or is happening so far
It suffice to state without a shadow of doubt and an unsure wavering of the mind, that I’m thankful
I’ve lost a family, endeared ones, and historical Immortals but it is not to question why it happened but rather, it gives me the attitude of graceful appreciation, and the pursuit of purpose
Perfect is not what I am in my actions, but it’s what I try to achieve every day, which brings me to the conclusion that it is not something that I can achieve by myself
I am flawed, and I seek salvation
I may not be worth what I am now, I might not deserve the blessings that have come my way, but the Man up there thinks otherwise and I don’t pay mind to the chatter around
2013 has been progress and learning in my own sphere of life, and there is still more fire to pass through
I am just certain as always I’m not alone
Been absent from writing, long time now… this Christmas just came as a source of inspiration
Wide awake at 4am in the morning pouring thoughts….

CALL OUT YOUR JOSEPH

Bible characters have always being a very interesting topic. I get to read and immerse myself into the story and lives of the various characters God used to show forth His glory. This post is directed to Christians; youths and adults alike, and also to anyone who is willing to be touched by it. I do have a thing for Joseph though. Yeah Joseph…... Joseph was a lot of things: He was young, in turn innocent and naive. He had a dream, which turned out be his vision and destiny. He was loved by his father, envied by his brothers. He was sold, he slaved, and finally he rose from the ashes and became a model for Christian youths today. My focus on his story is when he found himself in the lair of the seductress/temptress. Many youths/adults alike today will never pass on sex. In fact it has become a standard for being a man, so whenever one has the chance to prove him/herself worthy to their friends, they heed its call. Well as for me I beg to differ just like Joseph did....

KNOW THY SOURCE

Knowledge is power, and information is knowledge, and one can say information is power. More important is the source of knowledge or the information, and in every aspect of life it holds meaning and significance in our lives. The authenticity of the knowledge that is sought sharpens ones minds, builds ones character, and determines ones destiny. Having pointed that out, I have an experience to share. The scriptures make us to understand the people of God which was Israel at the time perished due to lack of knowledge. Simply put the people did not have adequate and true information or knowledge about their God and even if they did they rejected the truth. They often times let their selves be deceived by false teachings and the unbelievers around them. They began to indulge in the ungodly acts that God had instructed them not to do.  The scriptures also implore us as Christians to study the word of God to show ourselves approved and to rightly divide the word of truth. To expand...

DESIGNING RESPONSIVE LOGOS

If you are here for the first time, you can get up to speed reading our previous post on what responsive logo is- Moving on! This article is not just for advanced or seasoned graphic designers alone. Starting your first designing class or DIY learning? If yes, you can also pick a few things to add to your knowledge as you plan on using your designing skills in the industry playground. How to design a responsive logo in FIVE easy steps 1. Make at least four different versions When you break down a responsive logo, you’ll find three or four different versions of the same logo, varying in size and their level of detail. Keep that in mind as you start experimenting with the format. If you already know where you are going to use your logos, you can model your four versions around those locations. If not, you can copy the format used by the top name brands on the right. Your first variation should be your master logo, containing all the information you want to communicate, plus any ex...
